SUMMER PROGRAMME We have put together a full programme of summer trips starting with Pitsford in April and finishing at Hanningfield in October. We have tried to come up with an equal balance of weekend and midweek days in order to accommodate as many of you as possible. For most events you may nominate your boat partner or we can choose one for you – greenhorn anglers may ask to fish with someone more experienced for example. A draw for partners will be carried out on the two days for which trophies are on offer. The Carr Cup is the trophy awarded to the angler amassing the most points throughout the season, the points being awarded as follows: 10 points for attending and 5 points per fish up to a single day ticket limit (except at Ravensthorpe and the first trip to Pitsford). Hanningfield, midweek, early October. The exact date still to be arranged but we are trying for Wednesday 6th. Eight fish limit – catch and release tickets were available in 2003 but were astronomically priced. I try to give the fisheries a weeks notice of the exact number of boats we will need (I have 10 booked at each venue so far) so it is to your advantage to let me know as early as possible if you wish to come along.
