About Us

Founded in 1976 the Invicta Flyfishing Club based in Cambridge welcomes new members and aims to promote the sport of fly fishing by the education and encouragement of its members in all aspects of the sport.

Winter evening meetings are held monthly from October to March. These meetings cover a wide range of fly fishing and fly tying subjects and often have a well known fishing personality as guest speaker.

Throughout the season, from March to November, fishing trips are organised at various venues, including reservoirs and small waters, both bank and boat fishing.

The club is involved in many competitions and events both locally and nationally.

Club fishing events are friendly and beginners can learn a lot by fishing with more experienced anglers. We also have an annual dinner where we give out the various club trophies. Why not come along to one of our meetings and introduce yourself to us, you will be assured of a warm welcome.
